In a nutshell: Great little café serving all sorts of Mediterranean goodies
Opening hours: Monday – Saturday 8am to 5pm; Sunday – 9am – 3pm
Example prices: Sandwiches range from £2.95 – £3.50
Dishes to try: The Cyprus sandwich which has marinated chicken breast with roasted onions, tomato and greek yoghurt.
Best Feature: Other than the brilliant food, it is a great place to both have lunch and just stop for a coffee and a nibble. Their baklava is amazing with a coffee!
Worst Feature: They don’t do evening food. It’s such a shame they aren’t open later as Durham could really do with another evening eatery that does a broader range of Mediterranean food.
Offers: Plenty! Early bird (8am – 10.30am): a bacon sandwich or a cheddar cheese and tomato sandwich in whatever bread you prefer (they’re all pretty tasty), or a toasted teacake and a cup of tea or coffee for only £2.50; From 2pm – any tea or coffee with a biscuit for only £2.00; Loyalty Card – buy 8 hot drinks and get a 9th for free; Student discount – get 10% off your order
