Fashion needs to focus on not only the sustainability of the resources used to produce clothing, but also on the attitude of those wearing them. It is about longevity of design, the raw materials used, and the psychology of the consumers.
According to Greenpeace UK, there are currently an estimated “12.7 million tonnes of plastic that end up in our oceans every year. That’s approximately one truck load of rubbish per minute”. This needs to change.
